Standing proud and tall since 1885,??the Harbor Beach Lighthouse has seen her share of Harbor Beach history.?On June 5, 2013, there was another first at this community?s most recognizable symbol.??Debbie and Bill Cardew, from Clifford, Michigan, exchanged their wedding vows before family and friends at the base of the lighthouse with the Rev. Mark Ryan officiating.???It was a dream come true for the couple and the Harbor Beach Lighthouse Preservation Society was thrilled to have them choose Harbor Beach for their very special day.???Best wishes to the happy couple and please come back to visit again soon!

What a glorious 2012 tour season this has been! For those of you planning to visit the Harbor Beach Lighthouse this summer, you have one more Saturday to get it done. Saturday, September 1 will be the last tour of the season. The weather has cooperated nicely, visitors have enjoyed the informative and inspiring history lesson and many are making plans for repeat visits with family and friends in 2013.
